With over 15 years of experience in national security, policy, and homeland security, Joel is passionate about leveraging data science, machine learning, and AI to enhance the public sector's capabilities and outcomes. As the President of Public Sector at Domino Data Lab, he leads the strategy, operations, and growth of the business unit that serves major government agencies.

Before joining Domino, he held senior leadership positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he led strategic initiatives, policy planning, and strategic planning. He spearheaded the Department's first Quadrennial Homeland Security Review in nine years, restructured efforts to combat targeted violence, implemented the Department's first AI task force, and served as the Day 1 Chief of Staff in the Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans in the Biden-Harris Administration.
