José is the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Posadas, the leading hospitality company in Mexico, with more than 180 hotels, resorts and vacation properties in its portfolio that includes almost 30,000 rooms and more than 40 hotels under development. Posadas currently has more than 19,000 employees and is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange. José Carlos began his career within Grupo Posadas in 1994. Prior to becoming CEO in 2011, José Carlos spent time as the head of several of Grupo Posadas most critical functions, including Real Estate, Vacation Ownership, Revenue Management and Chief Corporate Sales & Marketing.
