Joseph Lamb, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Holistic Medicine/Integrative Medicine and is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. With over 20 years of private practice experience, Dr. Lamb is the Medical Director for Nature’s Sunshine Products.

To date, he has been the Primary Investigator in over 75 clinical studies. He has lectured internationally in Continuing Medical Education (CME) settings (including the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Fellowship for Anti-aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine) and non-CME settings. He has edited several books, authored book chapters (including 4 on osteoporosis and one for the Textbook of Functional Medicine), and authored and co-authored academic papers and website presentations on a variety of Functional Medicine topics. Vascular Biology for the Clinician, which he co-authored, was published in 2019. He is the principal partner in the Consilience Partnership which offers Functional Medicine experiences in novel setting to patients and practitioners alike.
