Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women. Black mothers-to-be are being failed. The current neglect of Black maternal health is the primary place to investigate. Black maternal health is all about protection. That is, protecting Black pregnancies from the widening disparities in maternal mortality.
