Laurie brings over 33 years of expertise to her position as Executive Director. During her time at the Museum, she has taken on various roles, including Controller, Human Resources, and Director of the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival. With a profound passion for educating and connecting with children, Laurie pursued her studies in Special Education at Oklahoma Christian College and UNLV.
The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is celebrating 30 years on Las Vegas Boulevard and continues to allow visitors to learn while taking a step back in time.
We started as a really small museum by several volunteers back in 1991. We are an accredited museum where only 6% of museums nationally are. We have 40,000 square feet of exhibit space from dinosaurs to Africa.
