Dr. Katherine (Katie) Lingras is licensed child-clinical psychologist specializing in early childhood mental health and social-emotional development in early and middle childhood, with particular emphasis on young children experiencing behavioral concerns or who have experienced traumatic events. In addition to outpatient treatment and assessment, Dr. Lingras' body of work is centered on community-based collaboration with pediatric primary care clinics and early childcare programs, where she initiates programs on integrated behavioral healthcare, early childhood screening, and mental health consultation. Dr. Lingras is trained in the Incredible Years teacher, child, and parent curricula and in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (a dyadic treatment for children who have experienced trauma and their caregivers). Her experience and expertise sits at the intersection of early childhood psychology research, practical applications, and policy implications.
