Katie Cazorla is the owner and founder of The Kookaburra Lounge, a state of the art comedy and music lounge in the heart of Hollywood. Opened in May 2024, The Kookaburra Lounge is an elegant space featuring fantastic food, craft cocktails and perfect acoustics. Decorated by Katie, and sound engineered by Walter Afanasieff, The Kookaburra Lounge is equipped with plush velvet couches, JBL/Harman sound, Martin Lighting, AKG mics and a Roland Baby Grand Piano providing a wonderful experience for entertainers and patrons alike. An extra special touch is the hidden speakeasy serving as the ultimate greenroom for performers and private area for VIP. The club is located in The Ovation Center with neighbors, The Dolby, Disney’s El Capitan, Mann’s Chinese, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Katie is a comedian, actress, entrepreneur, and reality television personality. Prior to The Kookaburra Lounge, Cazorla founded the popular salt healing spa Mind Body and Salt in Los Angeles, which she still owns and operates today. Cazorla has been a part of the Los Angeles comedy community for over twenty years. She has shared the stage with talents such as Tiffany Haddish, Craig Robinson, Nikki Glaser, and many more. Cazorla produced and hosted a weekly show at The Laugh Factory called Wild Wednesdays featuring performances by Matt Rife, Jo Koy, and Lisa Ann Walter. She is also known for her appearance on the reality TV show “Second Wives Club” (E!).
