  • Understanding Stage 0 Breast Cancer: Early Detection and Treatment
Dr. Lambert says, "Stage zero breast cancer is very treatable and highly curable." Often asymptomatic, it’s detected via screening mammograms and confirmed with a biopsy. Treatments include lumpectomy or mastectomy, sometimes followed by radiation or anti-estrogen medications. With appropriate treatment, the 10-year survival rate is 97-99%.
