Katy has worked in mental health for nearly twenty years. Having began her career as an undergraduate intern and worked to Clinical Director positions in small, midsize and large settings, Katy truly understands the challenges faced by mental health professionals at all levels. In addition, Katy operates her own private practice and has an intimate understanding of what it takes to establish, grow and maintain a private practice - as well as the challenges private practice therapists face.

Katy believes that peer support improves client outcomes and provider wellness and is a necessity for modern clinical practice. She is a tireless advocate for employee wellness.

A graduate of Clark University and Simmons University, Katy is a Harvard-trained clinician specializing in treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, and learned from John Gunderson at the renowned Gunderson Residence at McLean Hospital. Katy has trained in and utilizes DBT, CBT and CPT in her clinical practice.
