Even as a kid, I grew up loving all kinds of animals and wanting to be a veterinarian. (Raising pigs in 4-H and FFA directly led to the rather large pig collection that I still have to this day!). I followed my passion, embraced the work-ethic my parents instilled in me, and have enjoyed a wonderful career as a veterinarian with Lovet Pet Health Care for more than a decade now. I’m proud to be a team member of the Lovet family, comprised of 23 small animal hospitals across the Greater Phoenix and Chicago areas. During my time at Lovet North Buckeye Animal Hospital, not only was I able to love on some amazing dogs and cats, but I also learned that I enjoy training other doctors and aiding in their growth through those first few years after vet school. I love seeing the spark that ignites when someone finds their passion!
Currently I follow a unique path for a veterinarian in a role that allows me to connect with all our Lovet practices. As our veterinarian training manager, I have the privilege of sharing our organization with veterinary students, recent graduates, and seasoned veterinarians providing a resource to help them be as successful as possible. To my great joy, I still have opportunities to practice hands-on medicine (I need my puppy and kitten time!) and scrub into surgeries when I am out in our hospitals in a training capacity. I absolutely love guiding doctors through experiencing new procedures, gaining efficiency, and discussing the nuances of client communication that leads to amazing customer service.
