Kelly Jones, MS, RD, CSSD, is a board certified specialist in sports dietetics and a media and nutrition communications consultant. She began her career with nearly a decade as an associate professor of nutrition and exercise physiology, while building her business. As a nationally recognized nutrition expert, Kelly is regularly featured in traditional media, including broadcast television, radio, and print and digital articles. She consults with national sports organizations, high school and college teams and has experience working with well-known fitness clubs directing nutrition services and developing medical fitness programs. She and her dietitians offer practical resources, tips, recipes and courses to help optimally fuel the body and mind of athletes and adults with busy, active lifestyles. Kelly founded and oversees the services provided by Student Athlete Nutrition, whose mission is to make evidence-based performance nutrition information and practical applications accessible to more young athletes.
