The Senate passes President Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill.
Due to COVID-19, there are a few things to watch out for when filing taxes this year.
The House could approve President Biden’s massive $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief plan Friday.
I would expect this bill would pass sometime in March so at the earliest individuals can expect money in March.
With the stimulus checks, the biggest thing this year is the Recovery Rebate Credit. This is going to be for individuals who need to claim a stimulus payment, a person who has yet to receive their stimulus payment — the IRS has not issued it, or they received a partial payment. They may qualify for additional payment on their 2020 tax return.
Individuals will get that third round of payments per person and then also $1,400 per child too. And also for other dependents as well.
