Ken DauSchmidt, is the Co-Founder and CEO of TearRestore, a med-tech startup that gives dry eye sufferers a natural, effective, and convenient way to treat their symptoms. With a wealth of knowledge and experience with optometry and medical devices, Ken's passion for developing new medical treatments that improve the lives of patients and physicians across the globe led him to found TearRestore.
Born in 2020, with the support of the National Science Foundation and under the advisement of industry leading clinicians, TearRestore has patented, developed, and commercialized FDA-approved treatments for Dry Eye Syndrome.
Awarded NSF Honors for Product Innovations, TearRestore has been seen on OWN, HGTV, and in Optometry Times. Products can be found on Amazon and in 1000+ Targets (endorsed by Target Optical), and are coming to 3000+ Walmarts this fall.
