I imagined and developed National Hugging Day tm officially in 1986. It is celebrated annually on January 21st. Although designated as National, it is truly International. The purpose of this date is to promote the human connectedness through positive touch, and in this case, through hugging family and friends. It's really that simple! I am always looking to network with others who can help make this celebration happen locally, nationally and globally. I have been interviewed and sought by the BBC, Newsweek, People Magazine, as well as numerous TV, radio, print, and podcasts.
