Kim is the Founder & CEO of Axle Eight where she is primarily responsible for the growth of the agency. She has previously worked at an investment bank in Chicago contributing to the team’s success of over $650M in transactions during her tenure at this sell-side boutique firm. From there, she was recruited to join the founding team of Verizon’s newly created Global Corporate Strategy and Venture Group for Verizon’s Innovation incubator in Boston where she successfully led the team to 6 venture investments in the Healthcare space for Verizon Enterprise Services and helped charter the strategy for Verizon to enter the Healthcare IoT space. Moving on from Verizon, Kim began working for a go-to-market consulting agency where she was hired to design and manage the newly created Market Intelligence division for the organization. After this, Kim successfully created Axle Eight, an award-winning marketing agency that has been able to achieve an average of 50% YoY growth since inception under her leadership.
Kim received her Bachelors of Science in Economics from the University of Arizona and her MBA from Loyola University Chicago. Prior to graduating from the University of Arizona, Kim was recruited to play for the Division I Women’s Soccer Team at High Point University where she was Freshman Captain and scored the winning penalty kick for the Big South Conference Championship which took her team to the NCAA Championship. Kim loves camping, sports, margaritas, and watching her daughter discover everything life has to offer.
