Konrad Petraitis Alfaro is the lead Americas analyst for Sibylline. He specialises in intelligence analysis and macroeconomics. This places him in an excellent position to comment on matters across the whole American continent, including on environmental and political issues.

He was previously Senior Intelligence Officer for Emerging Markets at a boutique intelligence firm.

He has been featured and published multiple times in publications such as the International Business Times (US), Barron’s and The Mail Online.

Konrad has a Masters degree in Terrorism and Political Violence from the University of St Andrews and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Born in Venezuela and having lived in several European and Middle Eastern countries, he is also fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
