Born and raised in El Salvador, Krissia Campos Spivey is a first-generation immigrant. She is Spanish community liaison and digital media manager for National School Choice Week, a nonprofit that raises awareness about K-12 educational opportunities, from traditional public school enrollment to special education rights and homeschool requirements.

Krissia is passionate about empowering Hispanic families and removing barriers to educational opportunity. She works to develop Spanish-language resources to assist families in understanding their K-12 choices and leads a collaborative of Spanish-speaking education innovators from across the country.

Besides working for greater awareness of high-quality education options in underserved communities, she has years of experience leading creative design projects with an eye toward social change.
