Kristy Edwards, organization expert and owner of Neatly Balanced, transforms lives through recreating the sacred spaces of homes. By incorporating her low maintenance method, she sets clients up for success, allowing them to follow her minimalist configuration of each space. She then rehomes the discarded items to nonprofits and charitable organizations helping mothers and babies, the homeless, those in half-way houses, and more. Through in-depth analysis of each space, Kristy curates a vision for the area in need of decluttering before touching a single item, producing repeated optimal results with every client rehiring her for another room. Clients not only receive a refreshed space in 2-3 hours that reintroduces a sense of sanctuary, but also get to see where their donated items changed others’ lives. Kristy’s clients range from influencers, to single dads, to overwhelmed moms, to college students, and more. Her idea for Neatly Balanced originated on a mission trip where Kristy encountered people surviving with only the clothes on their backs. She uses this experience as inspiration to push for a minimalist lifestyle where resources are utilized for the less fortunate. With over a decade of experience, Kristy has connected with other women-owned and led businesses with a passion to see more women supporting women. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband, and provide tips and tricks on lifestyle hacks through healthy living, traveling on a budget, and turning messes back into functional living.
