Kristyn Kelly Shapiro is a national security expert with 18 years of federal service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Naval Intelligence. She is an innovative problem solver bringing her
“real world” experience as a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) to solve the complex challenges of federal clients and have direct mission impact.

She excels at bringing “organization to chaos”, having served in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division where she led through several crisis events from the longest shutdown in government history to the events of January 6th.

Kristyn thrives in environments where she can bring her “outsider’s” view to rethink “how things have always been done” whether leveraging her MBA in the FBI to tackle recruiting in the post-pandemic labor market, or as a post-9/11 hire to Naval Intelligence pursuing a career in Human Intelligence.

Kristyn has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. She is originally from Westchester County, NY, is married to Ross Shapiro, and is the mother of Charlotte (3), and Juliet (1) who accidentally arrived at home delivered by her father.
