Laura Kuri Benavides | Source | Director of Sustainability at Integrity BioChem

Laura Kuri Benavides is the Director of Sustainability at Integrity BioChem (IBC) and Vice President of Technology for Integrity Mining and Industrial (IMI). She aims to position IMI as a technical powerhouse in the mining and industrial industries. Mrs. Kuri Benavides works closely with the Integrity Innovations Group to promote unique product innovation, as well as to determine new uses for IBC's biopolymers. She also provides onsite technical support and training to the industry.

Mrs. Kuri Benavides began her career at Halliburton as a Research and Development Chemist for Baroid IDP (Industrial Drilling Products), and then accepted an expat assignment as the laboratory manager for Cebo Holland. She completed her time at Halliburton leading Business Development in Latin America for IDP, focusing on mining in Peru and Chile. Her roles at Halliburton and Cebo offered direct involvement in the Mining, Explorations, Tunneling and Industrial Drilling industries as well as consumer markets such as cat litter and animal feed. She most recently served as the Technical Sales Director for Integrity BioChem.

Mrs. Kuri Benavides earned a B.S. in Biochemistry, with a minor in Business Foundations, from the University of Texas at Austin.
