Lawrence Lenihan is the chairman and co-founder of Resonance. Through its proprietary cloud-based platform, create.ONE, Resonance has created an infrastructure to design, sell and make products on demand, sustainably, anywhere in the world. Prior to Resonance, Lawrence founded FirstMark Capital in New York, which has backed some of the most successful commerce companies in the market today, including Tommy John, Pinterest and Shopify. Prior to founding FirstMark, he was the Founder of Pequot Ventures, the predecessor to FirstMark, in 1996. He started his career at IBM in the Retail Industry sales organization and later started a product business within IBM providing interactive kiosks for retailers.
Lawrence is an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business, where he teaches Next Generation Retail.
