Linda Riddell is an epidemiologist, population health scientist and poverty educator, specializing in poverty and social-economic status issues. She has a master's degree in health policy and management. She keeps abreast of developments with courses at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Michigan. She has a bachelor's in English.
Riddell dedicates her career to helping clients measure, understand, and improve health especially for low-income and disadvantaged people. The gettin' by training program sprang from a desire to make what is known in the science useful and accessible to others. After five years of testing and development, gettin' by made its debut at a National Education Association convention to rave reviews.
Riddell writes a blog and contributes editorials and articles to other publications. She also speaks frequently at conferences and webinars.
