There are reasons some bankers have been hesitant to embrace cloud technology in the past, but I think without question the pandemic has spurred higher interest in adoption because financial institutions, like other spaces, have seen an emergence in demand for new digital services from their customers that will require more than previous systems can support. Thankfully, banking leaders have since embraced the pivot to cloud and SAP is having exciting conversations with these institutions to help them use technology to unlock these features for their customers and shape the future of their industry.
