Created from the heart, Empty Nest Counseling was launched in 2021 to support couples and individuals through the milestones of becoming an Empty Nester or new grandparent, or finding balance in how you relate to your adult children. Mahaley earned her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Mahaley has training in grief counseling throughout the life stages, and has extensive experience working with families as they transition through various phases of life. Before becoming a therapist, Mahaley worked as a postpartum doula and pediatric sleep consultant and ran a coaching group for new mothers. She has additional training in maternal mental health from Postpartum Support International, and is a member of AAMFT. Mahaley is passionate about helping men and women navigate their parenting journey through all stages of life with empathy and compassion.
