I am trained as an urban planner and have worked in the field of community development and finance for over 25 years. I have worked for for-profit and non-profit organizations, consulting firms and investment banks. Committed to community development and affordable housing, I teach courses on real estate, housing policy and finance and lecture throughout the U.S. A Harvard Loeb Fellow for the 2014-15 year at the Graduate School of Design, I consult with architects, planners, non-profit organizations and others throughout the United States through was firm “Ideas and Action.” Currently Associate Dean at NYU’s Schack institute of Real Estate, I have taught and run academic centers at the Syracuse School of Architecture and Univeristy of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
