Mark is a Mathematician specializing in mathematical analysis and high-dimensional phenomena in probability theory and geometry. At present the primary focus of his research is the theory of the magnitude of metric spaces. Mark's past research has also focused on random matrix theory and interactions between probability theory and convex geometry. He have developed graduate level courses at CWRU on Matrix Analysis and on High Dimensional Probability, and coauthored a textbook for a mathematically rigorous undergraduate Linear Algebra course.
