Mark has been in the real estate industry since 1995, having worked for a decade in Las Vegas in the homebuilding industry in sales and marketing. After moving to New Hampshire in 2007, he started a residential real estate practice and founded Porcupine Real Estate. Over the years, Mark and his team completed over 450 transactions in New Hampshire, including the purchase/sale of homes, condos, multi-family investment properties, new construction, and land.
Mark has worked with international clients and speaks Spanish.
Mark was the first real estate agent in New Hampshire (and one of the first in the nation), to broker the sale of a house for bitcoin (2017, then several more over the years since).
As a sitting legislator, in 2012 Mark was the first state legislative candidate in the US to accept cryptocurrency for campaign contributions.
Beyond business, Mark has been active in his community politically and as a volunteer:

- Member, Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization based in N.H. [Free State Project]
- Member of the newly formed New Hampshire Blockchain Council
- Past president of New Hampshire Liberty Alliance
