During the pandemic, the number of homeowners taking in lodgers dropped sharply. People were understandably worried about having someone else in their house during Covid. We’re not yet back to pre-pandemic levels but the numbers have picked up and we only expect them to increase in the coming months as people look for ways to offset the rise in living costs.
