Max Chan is Avnet’s Chief Information Officer. In this role, he is responsible for all information technology (IT) areas throughout the Avnet ecosystem, including the delivery of strategic business IT and digital transformation initiatives. He oversees the resources and capabilities of the global IT team and ensures that the organization maintains a robust and optimized IT environment.
COVID-19 has transformed the workplace and, as many companies welcome employees back to offices, others have opted to maintain hybrid or 100% remote business models.
Keeping that consistent experience and culture is what we have to spend a lot of time on. It is still a work in progress. As a global company, the nuance to watch out for is the regional/country differences. For example, over 70% of our Asian workforce is back in the office.
