Michael is an accomplished Campus Planner and Urban Designer who is committed to advancing projects rooted in equitable outcomes across the country, informed by his extensive experience from both the public and private sectors. Michael’s particular expertise includes higher education framework planning, urban design, and stakeholder facilitation. He brings strong experience in integrating equitable approaches to planning and urban design from his time in Seattle where he served as Chair of the Seattle Planning Commission during a period of intense regional growth and subsequent emphasis on racially-equitable approaches to community development.
