Mika Uematsu, LCSW-C, CCTP serves as the Director for the Trauma Recovery Center and Mental Health Services for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing at MPB Group, Inc. She received her Masters in Social Work from UMAB in 1997 and has been a practicing psychotherapist for the last 24 years. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who is fluent in American Sign Language. During her career, Ms. Uematsu has provided clinical services in partial rehabilitation programs, forensic assertive community treatment programs, and as the (ASL) signing therapist for a program that offered mental health services to deaf individuals in the office and in the community setting.
