Mohaimina "Mina" Haque is the CEO of Tony Roma's, spearheading a strategic transformation to revitalize the iconic 53-year-old restaurant chain while making history as its first female chief executive and leader of a major global F&B brand under the age of 40. Her leadership focuses on restructuring operations, fostering growth, and positioning Tony Roma's for future success in both domestic and international markets, achievements reflected in the brand's #2 ranking in Newsweek's Excellence Index for Restaurant and Cafe category, second only to Starbucks. Alongside her executive role, Mina runs a successful law firm specializing in immigration and corporate law, with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at American University Washington College of Law, where she teaches law practice management to the next generation of legal professionals.
A mother of two, including a teenager, Mina has earned numerous accolades for her transformative leadership across multiple sectors. She was recently named one of Success Magazine's 50 Women of Influence in February 2025, following recognition as one of Women We Admire Top Women Leaders of DC for 2024 and 2025 and Top Attorney of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) in 2023. Washingtonian Magazine highlighted her as one of the Outstanding Women in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area in 2021, underscoring her influence as both a legal and business leader, and DC Modern Luxury Magazine named her one of the Power Players in Washington D.C. in 2024. As a member of Chief, the premier network for senior women leaders, Mina continues to break barriers and champion workplace inclusivity. Her thought leadership extends to the global stage, where she shared insights on ambition, ownership, and equity at The Female Quotient's event during the World Economic Forum in Davos, inspiring the next generation of leaders to unabashedly own their ambition while demonstrating how women can excel in leadership.
