Mona has spent more than two decades working in the nutrition industry including the food and beverage, and supplement categories. She currently serves as the Global Director of Scientific Affairs at ChromaDex. Prior to joining ChromaDex, Mona served as the Nutrition Scientist and Scientific Affairs Manager at Danone (formerly WhiteWave Foods) where she led claim substantiation for a large portfolio of plant-based and dairy products and executed external engagement strategies to build awareness and credibility for innovation and legacy brands. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and Master’s degree in nutrition. Mona is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the American Society for Nutrition, and AND’s Healthy Aging Dietetic Practice Group.
