Mostafa Ghanem, DVM, MS, Ph.D. is an assistant professor with University of Maryland and Virginia-Maryland School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ghanem received a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. His research focuses on development of advanced molecular diagnostics and typing schemes using next-generation sequencing for molecular typing and epidemiological investigation of infectious diseases of economic (Avian Mycoplasma) and public health significance (foodborne pathogens).
