Natasha leads Ferrara’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy and is responsible for implementing and monitoring programs to promote diversity and foster an open and inclusive work environment.
Prior to Ferrara, she was SVP of Diversity & Inclusion at Nielsen, overseeing the strategic development & implementation of diversity & equity initiatives.
Recognized as one of Crain’s Notable DE&I Executives and DiversityMBA Magazine’s Top 100 Executive Leaders and Top 100 Women of Influence, Natasha is a key thought leader. She has parlayed her love of mentorship and writing commentary on career planning and guidance as a contributing writer for several career and lifestyle magazines. Natasha has led keynotes, panels, and workshops for The Conference Board, Society for Human Resource Management, DiversityInc, DiversityMBA, Human Capital Institute, and many talent, inclusion and performance conferences, connecting with global audiences across industries.
Natasha sits on the editorial board for Training Industry Magazine and the executive board of directors for the Village of Oak Lawn’s Chamber of Commerce where she co-chairs the Marketing & Membership committee. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Chief, a private network for executive women.
Natasha graduated from Northern Illinois University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and has an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Jack Welch Management Institute. She is the president of her local unit elementary school PTA and lives in the Chicago area with her husband and their sons.

When considering a diversity scorecard, businesses should ensure they've chosen strategic goals that will drive substantive change, according to Natasha Miller Williams, vice president and head of DE&I for candy manufacturer Ferrara in Chicago.
"The most important best practice is to ensure you have impactful strategic goals," she explained. "Too often, DE&I is reduced to tactical programmatic efforts or tracking, when it should be a strategic function. The tactics should only be executed if they will help you advance toward your goal."
