With an extensive background in engineering, design, and construction, Nate found his purpose when he took his first Permaculture Design Course (PDC) with Geoff Lawton in 2014. He would convert back yards into whole human ecosystems, providing food, beauty, and function while creating symbiotic relationships with nature.

He has since completed three PDC’s, acquired his General Contractors license, and studied regenerative agriculture abroad. In early 2020, Nate found HomeHarvest™ and was very impressed with its professionalism and substantial portfolio. He connected with Ben Barkan, who agreed to a licensing agreement to use the brand, provide training, and help Nate start a new business in Worcester, MA!
