Ngozi Onwuchekwa is an aspiring author, motivational speaker, and Mrs. Universe Exceptional Lady who overcame tremendous adversity on her journey to empowering others. In 2020 at age 42, Ngozi was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, one of the rarest and most aggressive cancers. Despite grueling chemotherapy and isolation during the pandemic, Ngozi persevered. After being declared in remission, she was filled with a new lust for life that led her to compete in her first ever pageant in 2023 at age 45. To her shock, Ngozi won 4th in the Mrs. Universe pageant and took home the Exceptional Lady crown. She is the first cancer survivor to win the Mrs. Universe Exceptional Lady title.

Now cancer-free, Ngozi is writing a book about her cancer battle to offer guidance to other patients. She runs marathons to raise money for cancer research and speaks openly about her experience to inspire strength in the face of hardship. With contagious optimism and courage, Ngozi is motivating countless people to live boldly and overcome their own challenges. Her story proves it's never too late to transform struggle into triumph.
