Dr. Jin is a medical oncologist who specializes in treating gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, particularly esophageal cancer, small intestine cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer and hepatobiliary cancer. There is an unmet need to develop personalized treatments for GI cancers, especially for esophageal and pancreatic cancer.
As a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James, her research interests include the resistance mechanism to chemotherapies and biological agents, molecular targeted therapy for precision medicine and novel immunotherapies in combination with standard chemotherapies for GI cancers.
In addition to her clinical work, she is an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research.
