Omar Rihani is Vice President and National Residential Sector Lead for Project Management Advisors Inc., a national real estate advisory firm providing consulting services as the owner’s representative.
Omar works with the company’s portfolio clients—including developers, life insurance companies, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds—to provide program management, project management and adherence to budget and schedules across multifamily developments nationwide. His 17 years’ experience includes innovative projects like 3033 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, a 21-story, 190-unit development that was the first to include a rooftop helipad, amenity deck and pool under the city’s new building code. He previously served as Senior Director of Development for UDR Inc., a leading multifamily real estate investment trust.
Omar is well versed on the opportunities and challenges inherent to multifamily projects and particularly high-rise buildings, for both developers and investors. He can speak to the psychographic and demographic trends in the residential sector from the point of view of a real estate development manager with a deep investment and engineering background.
