President, Minnesota Safety Council, and a leading voice for safety in the workplace, on the road and in the home. Led multi-year effort for passage of Minnesota's hands-free cellphone law and currently is spearheading a statewide traffic safety campaign to reduce what is expected to be Minnesota's highest number of vehicle deaths since 2007. The Minnesota Safety Council is a member-based, private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to preventing unintentional injuries - a leading cause of death, disability and economic loss.
