Pasturebird was founded by farmer Paul Greive with the intention to feed his growing family and to feel better along the way. Having contracted Lyme’s disease during his time serving in the Marine Corps, Paul found that the debilitating symptoms he experienced could be relieved through his diet. He adopted a paleo diet and saw great results, but the lack of transparency in the meat industry was a concern that pushed him to dive head first into poultry farming. What started in his backyard with 50 chicks has grown into a thriving business which now provides healthy, nutrient-dense chicken for families across the US.
