Paul Hambidge is the managing director of UK flooring company, Factory Direct Flooring. Paul has 35+ years of flooring industry knowledge and experience from both an installation and manufacturing perspective, and can comment on all things related to hard floors, from DIY how-tos, trends and inspiration, to tips such as measuring and choosing the right floor for each room's needs. Paul started out as installer of very large commercial flooring projects for multiple retailers. As director of Factory Direct Flooring Ltd, he has been involved in all aspects of flooring and has worked with some of the largest producers of wood flooring, vinyl flooring and laminate floors.

Factory Direct Flooring is a proud member of the British Wood Flooring Association (BWFA), which is an association for those working in the wood flooring industry. Their goal is to raise the standards of wood flooring through education and training. As such, all of FDFs staff undergo frequent training to ensure they are kept up to date with the standards of practice and have the knowledge expected to deliver a truly world-class wood flooring service.
