Graduated from West Texas A&M in 1992 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I attended The University of Texas (Dallas) and received my MBA in 1995. I also attended several postgraduate seminars in leadership, strategy, innovation, finance, negotiation, sales management, and marketing at The Harvard Business School, The University of Texas, and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Serving as the President of DuraPlas, Inc. DuraPlas has two main divisions, Maxi-Lift, and Southwest Agri Plastics. Maxi-Lift is a worldwide manufacturer of plastic and metal elevator buckets, rubber and PVC elevator belting, and related items for conveying agricultural and industrial bulk solids. Southwest Agri-Plastics manufactures plastic products for the cattle, swine, poultry, egg, energy, and transport industries. I am also heavily involved in companies' business and new product development.
Served as the Chair on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the AFIA (American Feed Industry Association), served as a Representative of the AFIA to the International Feed Industry Federation in conjunction with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN, and has served as the past Chairperson for the Equipment Manufacturers Committee of AFIA. Chaired the Exhibitor Advisory Committee for the joint meeting with AFIA, the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association, and the North American Meat Institute. Selected as the Member of the Year for AFIA in 2011. Served on the IFEEDER Foundation Board of Trustees as a charter member from 2009-2011, and again in 2023. Currently serves on the Board. Serving on the Manufacturing Council for PTDA (Power Transmission Distributors Association). Also an active member of GEAPS, NIBA, PTDA, EMC, and CEMA.
Also, holds several different patents for new products used in the agricultural, industrial, egg, energy, and horticultural industries.
