Piersten Gaines
Piersten is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Pressed Roots. After graduating from Columbia University and Harvard Business School, she set out to transform the hair care industry that had excluded ethnic hair textures for decades. Piersten speaks directly to the experience of women of color, providing a salon that not only respects their time, but also celebrates their individuality. After launching with pop-up salons in major cities across the country, she opened the Pressed Roots flagship salon in Dallas in March 2020.
