Priya Kumari was born and raised in the scenic foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. She was instilled with a love for reading by her father, who owned a bookstore, and continues developing a passion for the written word. Priya immersed herself in the rich and detailed history of Indian culture and mythos. That passion eventually turned to creating her own works focusing on humane values and diversity in the hopes of bringing future generations closer together. Her mother-in-law, a renowned Indologist, also encouraged her to write about Indic Culture for children. As the founder of Eternal Tree Books, Priya loves to connect with expert authors and storytellers from around the world. Priya is also a certified public accountant and lives in New Jersey with her husband and their two sons.
