Radha’s love of travel was inspired by her intrepid childhood followed by stints living abroad in Provence, Madrid and Santiago. Based in London in her early 30s – and following a generic group trip that left her feeling cold – Radha came up with the concept of a game-changing brand that would transform the group travel sector, by matching people of a similar age with immersive moments of adventure. She later pitched the idea of Flash Pack to her now husband and co-founder Lee Thompson on their first date. Multiple awards, booming growth and a Covid-comeback later, Flash Pack is thriving with 100% YoY growth, 50+ locally curated adventures and a global community of Flashpackers connected by lifelong friendship. Radha remains closely committed to values at the heart of Flash Pack’s DNA: great group dynamics, incredible experiences and expert local guides. She recently led a pioneering pay equality scheme for Flash Pack’s 60+ team of international employees.
