Raegan Moya-Jones is the co-founder of aden + anais, the baby care brand globally recognized for its muslin swaddles and baby products. The award-winning brand continues to introduce an evolving assortment of family-friendly lifestyle products inspired by Australian traditions and Raegan’s personal life experiences as a mom of four girls.
Raegan’s book, What it takes (Penguin Random House, May 2019) shares her entrepreneurial journey from the kitchen table to a 100 million dollar global business--all while remaining true to her feminine self.
In 2006, Raegan, along with a friend, launched aden + anais’ inaugural product--a design driven version of an Aussie-inspired muslin swaddle blanket. The product resonated instantly with American parents and the demand for the swaddles grew exponentially. aden +anais saw triple-digit growth yearly for the first six years of the business. In 2009, she was ready to make her own leap. She left her position at The Economist to run aden + anais full-time as the brand’s sole owner, eventually selling the company in 2013 and continuing on as CEO until 2017.
In 2014 Raegan was named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year, considered one of the most prestigious business awards in the world. Raegan has since served as one of the judges on the program. aden + anais was named to SmartCEO’s 2015 Future 50 list, recognizing the nation’s fastest growing companies, and made Crain’s New York Business Fast 50 list for three consecutive years. aden + anais was also recognized on the Inc. 500 list at #377 for a 987% 3 year growth rate in 2012.
Raegan currently resides in Sydney Australia with her four daughters.
