Ran Shahor
Ran is a Brigadier General (Retired) who founded the world-renowned cybersecurity program of the Intelligence branch of the Israeli Defense Forces. After 27 years of service, Ran held multiple leadership roles in the private sector. Prior to co-founding HolistiCyber, Ran was the founder and the Co-CEO of Focal Energy – a clean energy power plant developer and owner. Prior to Focal Energy, Ran was Managing Partner of Star Ventures, a $1 billion global venture capital group. Ran started his career in the elite IDF special forces unit “Sayeret Matkal” and later became the Commander of that unit.
