Randy Shoemaker is a transformative, results-oriented marketer with over twenty years of experience developing, scaling and monetizing brands at large corporations, emerging growth companies, and start-ups. The brands he has led over his career have generated over a billion dollars in retail sales.
Randy is the Chief Marketing Officer at Eastern Standard Provisions where he leads the company’s brand, marketing and e-commerce efforts.
Most recently, Randy was Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing at Funrise, a toy company where he led the global vision, strategy and go-to-market execution for Funrise’s portfolio of brands. His responsibilities included global brand management, marketing, global licensing acquisitions and entertainment initiatives including IP creation and development, content production, distribution, franchise management, and out-licensing.
Prior to joining Funrise, Randy was Senior Vice President of Franchise Management at Lionsgate where he established the company’s internal consumer products and licensing division. Randy oversaw the franchise strategy, planning, and monetization of Lionsgate’s slate of film, television, digital and home entertainment properties.
Before Lionsgate, Randy was an external Chief Marketing Officer and advisor for companies in the entertainment, education, food, sports and apparel industries. He successfully accelerated growth through customized brand plans and hands-on implementation of marketing tactics including demand and lead generation, digital and social media marketing and e-commerce.
Randy was also Vice President of Consumer Products at DreamWorks Animation where he led the consumer products, licensing and retail development efforts for all DreamWorks’ entertainment properties (theatrical, TV series, DVDs, and holiday specials).
He also held the position of Vice President of Global Brand Management at video game company THQ, overseeing the global Kids & Family portfolio of original IP and licensed brands, and led global brand management at Hasbro and Electronic Arts.
