Raymond earned his PhD at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He joined the Chapman faculty in 1985, as a professor of Economics and Management Science. Dr. Sfeir served as Associate Provost and Vice Chancellor from 1966 to 2014. He teaches microeconomics, applied econometrics, statistics and forecasting. His research interests include operations research, capital asset pricing models and applied economics. Dr. Sfeir conducts the California quarterly survey of purchasing managers and the consumer sentiment survey.
